Allergy to microfiber sheets????

i think my kitten is allergic to microfiber fabric..... Or am I totally crazy? Millie has been getting this rash on her back/neck/legs area for a few weeks now... It seems to come and go.... I thought maybe the new litter.... Or different wet food we tried... Or even developed an allergy to her Fromm game bird. The other day hubby said " do you think it could be the new sheets you bought?" I took them off the bed and put cotton back on... The rash seems to be almost nonexistent now!! Coincidence?? Anyone hear of this before?

I have never heard of them being allergic to a certain fabric. (But with these guys you never know lol) My thought is perhaps the detergent is not fully rinsing out of the sheets? Do you use fabric softener/sheets when washing your sheets? That has been known to be an issue for some.

Maybe that's it! Maybe it doesn't rinse as well out of synthetic fabric? I do use dryer sheets too!

In my sheets and Izmae's throws, I use (All free) and no softener.
