I'm planning on getting an automatic feeder, does anyone recommend a good one? Me and my husband leave for usually 3 days at least every other month and its about time to get one haha. Thanks for the help!

Do you need one with an ice pack for wet or just dry?
Here is what we use. Very basic and reliable. Can do one wet meal but ice would not work for 3 full days with wet. We have cat sitter feed wet at night and set the timers with dry food for the morning. If you only plan dry they are great.

I use an analog timer (0-48 hours) feeder with two flaps that flop up independently. It has a space under the bowl sections for an ice pack so you can use it for wet/raw food, and in theory it can be secured to a wood surface to prevent flipping. Too bad Miss Demeanor figured out how to disassemble it within a week.
