I'm looking to adopt or rescue a hairless baby in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia but willing to drive a bit further if needed. The website searches are overwhelming, and for sale ads make me nervous and I really can't afford to pay a breeder $1,500 to $2,000 for a kitten being a single mom of 3 but I would love to adopt or rescue if anyone knows of someone who needs to rehome their Sphynx baby. There just doesn't seem to be any info available in my general area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hairless Blessing

Welcome to sphynxlair good to have you.
Keep a daily watch here. You might wait awhile, then, all of a sudden
there will be several for reigning. But, they go fast, so, watch.
You can be reading and learning a lot on this site while waiting.
It's a wonderful site, wonderful people.
Also, you can contact breeders for retired breeders. They are still
young, and not near the cost of a baby. Just make sure, it's a reputable breeder.

Thank you! I have already learned so much just reading through everyone's posts. It's been very helpful. This is a great forum with such nice people. I will definitely be on the look out.
