The ingredients look ok, but if fish is the only source of protein I would not buy it.

Just curious as to why you think fish is a "bad" source of protein?

Not neccesarily bad, but cats don't eat fish in nature and need a variety of proteins to keep healthy. Plus various research suggests that fish (although healthy like once per week) contains multiple ingredients that are not so good for cats. If you google it, you'll find plenty of articles stating this (I keep forgetting the details )
I would look for something with other protein sources in it as well.

Wanted to follow up on this post. Nathan has been happily eating this food for about a month and half. He seems perfectly fine and happy.

What I wonder is this. Are there things in my cats diet that I should be on the look out for while he's eating just dry food? He's been using the bathroom regularly. Has tons of energy. Always seems happy. Just looking for feedback.

Any other comments on this food? Apparently it's only available at Costco. Nathan has gone through an entire bag and I just started on the second bag. I haven't seen any adverse reactions or negative effects. I worry that he's not getting what he needs though.

You could try supplementing his diet by giving him wet once a day and add Kittybloom to it. That's what some people use that make their own raw to make sure their cats get what they need

I might give that a shot. Any suggestions on a good "wet" food to start him on?

If there is a wet version of the Natures Domain I would start with that, try different flavours to see what he likes. Try rabbit, chicken or duck, whatever they have. If that brand doesn't offer wet just take a look what's available in the store. We feed Applaws wet but I don't know if they sell that in your area! Just make sure the ingredients look good

Natures Domain is exclusive to Costco and they don't offer a wet variety. I'm transitioning to Natural Balance Ultra Premium for dry food. I'm also going to try to mix some of the Natural Balance wet food on occasion as well. The ingredients of the Natural Balance make me feel a lot better knowing Nathan will be getting more of the nutrients that he needs.

Natural Balance offers a wide variety of food also, not sure if it's best to go with the "Ultra Premium" or if one of the special blends like "Green Pea and Duck" or "Green Pea and Chicken" would be better.

I've seen other members here feed the Green pea and Duck with great success
