    Waiting at the Rainbow Bridge

September 16,2017- I lost the love of my life in small creature form. My precious Inari Rhea Spirit lost her battle with CKD. She fought it for many years and was stronger than I have ever been my entire life. She was a celebrity, flying on planes across the country, helping people as a pet...

    Spots after fluids...

Thank you everyone for your quick responses. Doctors did not know what they were at the end, but she had other issues stacking up and we had to let our precious baby go. Thank you for your help, Karen

    Spots after fluids...

My dearest Inari is battling CKD. She gets fluids through IV often to help filter her system. The last two times she's developed these marks on her. The first time is was just a small patch and they kind of went away before these appeared. Now they are really red and all over. She also has an...

    Bumpy Paws

I wish that was an option. 5 hour drive or 3.5 out of state to the nearest university. :(

    Bumpy Paws

She's been on different food just to get her to eat since she's always been picky. The litter is mostly the same. I rotate through a couple of brands but she's never had a reaction.

    Bumpy Paws

Hello everyone, My precious Inari has been battling CKD for awhile now. And for about 3 months, now has had large masses/bumps forming on her paws. They are getting so puffy they break and bleed open. She licks them when they bleed but otherwise don't seem to affect her mobility. I have taken...

    I have part parrot!! :0)

My sphynx likes to burrow under a hoodie, sit on my shoulder, and climb on my back. She'll do the climbing to just about anyone; my friends all get a kick out of it. I have to stand straight up otherwise she'll just keep repositioning instead of hopping down. The picture is her just helping...

New here and to sphynx foster/ownership

I give my sphynx science diet mature adult. She is very picky, but likes that food. I suggest lots of blankets and a high place to climb into to get away if she's overwhelmed. My sphynx keeps my 70lb dog in line, so I hope your new addition will fit right in.

Help! What are these bumps and spots?

Thank you everyone for such kind words. After a stressful week, I don't think I'm going to let the vet take another chunk out of her. You have all been wonderful and it sounds kind of common. As long as she's acting her usual sassy self, I'm going to leave it be. Stitches on sphynx are horribly...

Help! What are these bumps and spots?

Yes!!! @Catzzzmeow that's what mine has! They don't photograph well! What do you know about the marks/bumps? My sphynx is Inari - that's where I get my username. :) she's a dilute calico. She's a pioneer therapy cat who served over 3 years at a hospital with me. She is and always will be my...

Help! What are these bumps and spots?

@hairlessblessing thank you! Alexa, I don't think they are from the sun. Before I moved she never really had the spots and used to lay in a bay window all the time. Now she mostly in under a blanket.

Help! What are these bumps and spots?

Thanks. I'm just concerned because I couldn't remember the clumps being black balls or just skin color. The spots are hard to photograph. My vet said hyper pigmentation, but all my research says no. White blood cells were a little off but he said nothing of concern- tried an antibiotic and pain...

Help! What are these bumps and spots?

The spots are on her back, side/upper hip, one in her inner ear, a couple on each front leg. Those clusters are both right above her heel pad on each front leg. I thought I've seen them before, but they are black and look like the one now in her ear, so I don't think they were always there...
