Kinda sounds like a scam. But I thought i'd put it out there in-case anyone can go check it out.

Dear Amber,
thanks for the mail. i am glad to read from you again. Cash on delievery is not a problem for me. once the kittens gets to your home, you can make all arrangements to pay the adoption fee of $300.
based on the agency to deliver the kittens, i will suggest you make arrangements with anyone you know, that will operate on the same terms, as i verified, most agencies for pet deliveries here in LA only accept cash with order. let me have your full names and your complete home address including your telephone number.
once i have this information, i will register the kittens for urgent delivery to your home, the agency will contact you immediately, and they will inform on payment for transportation fee, directly to them.

Best regards,

Susan.

So I asked them if they would do COD just to see how far they would go. So if I were to give them the address of the Air Port, would that count?

Its worth a try,,as long as your specific about a meeting place at the airport...airports can be rather large.

That is a fraud.
Some breeders told me some of the pics were stolen off their websites.

There is also a post on Hoobly going around about a Scam now that i think about it. This does sound really fishy to me but you can always see how far they will go.

From how they write, it really does sound like a scam......It may be a waste of time, but if you really want to see if they are "real," meeting them at the airport with the Sphynx kitten is probably your safest bet....Just be sure to not give them any money, or personal information of any sort. Rather be safe than sorry!

I would never give them any personal information. Our air port is TINY! You can see one end from the other. I figure if they can pull my leg I can pull theirs.

I see the foreign scammers are getting smarter and using Yahoo email addys now. One thing I guarantee is that wasn't written by a native English speaker. It reads like one of those Nigerian scams (I read a lot of those just for the comedic value). Notice how the language deteriorates in the reply - that's because they didn't have a long time to work on it.

This uses almost the same word for word reading as one I almost got scammed with when I was looking for a sealpoint male--don't give them any of your information. Darn scammers! And I think Marlene is right--sounds like Nigerian--the guy who tried to scam me was from that neck of the woods.
