Hello,
My four month kitten Stewie started having diarrhea last night and this morning stopped eating and drinking. Her skin on the back of her neck is not returning to normal the way it should. I’ve been giving her fluids mixed with wet food via syringe and she has an appointment tomorrow afternoon. I’m just wondering if anyone knows of any health issues she could have where she was the runt of the litter? And is there anything else I can do for her until her appointment. She has also had cold like symptoms off and on since she came home from the breeders but I was told it was normal for them to occasionally get colds like that. She is not lethargic but I can tell she’s not feeling well as her eyes are going in opposite directions, like they do when she’s tired. She’s had no dietary changes and was dewormed in November.

I would call your vet and see if you can get them in today and not wait if possible. It’s worth a try and stress how she has declined quicker than you thought and you can tell dehydrated. I would be surprised if they don’t squeeze you in or tell you to seek an Emergency Hospital. @jojcake. not trying to alarm you, but if can see they are dehydrated it makes it more concerning.

@jojcake , welcome to the lair family. hugs n positive vibes for adorable Stewie.

I would call back vet asap and see if they can get her in today ...
if they are booked and you need to do a drop off to check immediately or ER visit

**** mention that you checked her skin for tenting and she is dehydrated , not eating or drinking and that her eyes roll.

yes they can get stress Upper respiratory infections when newly homed, but with her symptoms I would get her in asap and get a diagnosis and treatment plan quickly.

keep us updated often, all paws are family
