6 days left!

Just wanted you all to know that in 6 days I will bring my 12weeks old Ramses-boy home! Recently I've been collecting all the things I need for his home-coming, even ran half over city to get "coconut-oil" (got the tip from this forum)

Anyway, I can't get sleep at night, too excited!
I've wanted a sphynx for as long as I can remember, and finally it's happening!

Will be back to tell you more about his home-coming-story later!

Question. Have you seen a live sphynx kitty before? Because when I got Butterball, I had never seen a live sphynx. His first appearance to me was a little shocking. It wasn't that I thought he was ugly or gross, I just had never seen a live sphynx so my first impression was "is this thing real, he looks so odd?" I quickly got over any reservations I had though.

It wasn't that I thought he was ugly or gross, I just had never seen a live sphynx so my first impression was "is this thing real, he looks so odd?" I quickly got over any reservations I had though.

I had never seen a live Sphynx either when I went to get Snuffie. It was soo funny. My van had just broke down so I had my bestfriend take me who isn't real keen on these kitties anyhow. When we walked in she had kitty beds lined up on her couch and all these little naked heads popped up when we walked in. My friends face got all flushed then went pale, I thought she was going to faint. She was totally wigged out. lol She was fine after a few minutes. Snuffie sat up and stretched and when I walked over to her she jumped in my arms. It was the sweetest thing ever, She knew I was her mommy,,she's been with me ever since!! lol

haha, so many cute stories

I live a 15minuts car-ride from Ramses, so I've been able to give him plenty of visits
And I have also met sphynx-cats in cat-shows earlier.
I adored the way they looked from first sight, but what really surprised me was the way they felt like! I don't know what I imagined, but I really think they feel like suede!
And they're also so warm... I imagined them to be pretty cold due to the lack of fur xD

Anyway, they are amazing cats!
ANd during our last visit to Ramses, I really felt that he knew that he was gonna come home with us... While the other kittens were napping in another room the whole stay (3 hours) he was out with us, running around and showing off tricks, and he seemed so proud that he finally managed to climb up the cat stand by his own
And after a while he fell asleep in my arms, it was hard to go home that day!! Looking forward to monday!

This is too funny! I had my first kitty shipped to me so when I picked him up from the airport he was sleeping in his crate. I had to wait until I was in my car to actually see him. Oh My was I shocked just like you! They sure are different! It was an instant bond! I drove him the hour drive home on my lap!
