8 month old male chewing his nails

Does anyone else’s Sphynx chew their nails? Mine constantly does despite trimming his nails regularly. Any tips on how to get him to stop? Normal behaviour or abnormal?

It’s a normal behavior for many especially the back nails. 2 of mine chew only their back nails.

That makes me feel better. Yes, it’s typically his back nails he chews. The noise is awful!

@nikialexander lol...I know it drives me nuts, especially early in the morning lol. Well, look at the positive side a few less nils you need to cut. I usually just snip the tips of those they chew so they aren’t so ragged.

All of mine (sphynx and non-sphynxes alike) all chew their claws and all of them make the most horrific slurping noises, usually when I'm trying to sleep!
