This evening Harry decided to climb my head and sit on the very top! Ben got jealous and put Harry close to his head.. and Harry just lays down on Bens head and stays there for about five minutes hahaha! I guess he found Bens head nice and warm...

Also is a picture of Harry and my devon rex Chloe for fun.. what a couple!

How have your sphynxes taken to the changing of temperatures? Harry is usually a bouncing ball of energy but lately he has been hiding out near the Bed keeping warm, or whining for me to put him in my sweatshirt. Do they get used to the chilled weather? I want him to be running around again :( Perhaps it would help if I made him a thick wool sweater:Sweat:

Some great pics you got!:ThumbsUp:I hate when they do something like that and I don't get the camera quick enough!
It is getting chilly here also and our sphynxs have been staying under the covers longer also, I broke down and put the heat on yesterday and the came running out so happy, looking at me as to say what the heck took you so long.

I'm glad you all enjoyed Harrys pictures, and that he was able to bring some joy to this forum on his final last days.

Unfortunately he has passed away from FIP Yesterday. I spoke about it in another section of the forum. His tummy is a little bit large in this photo- which is a symptom of FIP that I want all you baby owners to be aware of.

I am still crushed. I don't think everyone will really understand how much I loved that guy.. I would bathe and wash my hair with him relaxing in the tub beside me EVERY morning. I had had him for only a month and had already sewn him a heading pad, made him two sweaters and a fleece jacket, and had elaborate plans of a cat tree the weekend before his death. Really, when he wasn't being spoiled like crazy.. he was living in my zip up:Sweat:

Noone will ever be quite like him, but I am going so crazy without him.. I need a naked baby noooowwww!

Ellie4, I know exactly what you mean. After I lost my Harold, the house was so quiet and empty. For months my life had been devoted to keeping him alive, and after he was gone I didn't know what to do with myself. I literally felt like I was going crazy, I couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, couldn't stop crying. I lasted three weeks before I adopted my boy Walter. He was exactly what I needed to start feeling like a normal person again, and he was incredible for the healing process. He was never a replacement, but definitely a diversion and something to love and help fill the emptiness!

I hope you find another naked baby when the time is right.

Thank you for your kind words everyone.

I have missed having a sphynx very much.. There is a women I have located in IL that was rehoming her cat because the two males don't get along. I came out to meet her and spoke with her vet about the health history of her kitty and how often he is seen/vaccinated. I received great news! When I got to her home she had registration papers ready for me to look through too. The women loves him very much, and after hearing my story about Harry, was kind enough to give me a great deal so that he would go home to a really loving home:BigSmile:

I will be bringing him home towards late November! I'm really crossing my fingers everything goes smoothly.. I think I have checked everything I could check on him. When I got in the home- he immediately ran to me and began to dance around giving me affection.. it was so sweet. I'll probably make a post introducing the new fella with more photos as soon as I get him here.

Here is a photo from a few months ago.. he is 1 1/2 now.
