Those are great pictures. The second one made me giggle. I can hear my grandmother's voice now, "Oh for land sakes. That cat is gonna suck the life out of the baby!"

OMG! My mother told me that with all three of my babies, said the cats were gonna smother them for the milk on their breath, lol. When it didn't happen, she said it must be because I breastfed and cats didn't like breastmilk

In my case one of our boys did get into the bassinet with one of our newborns. We never told my grandmother, but kept the cats out of the baby's room until they were old enough to turn themselves and push the cats away. I have a lot of pictures of my kids as toddlers sleeping with our Sphynx.
