Hi everyone.

An update and a question for you guys. First, Dilb had a heart scan and they found he was healthy enough to be neutered. They recommended another scan in a year. They think he might have anxiety, because his murmur is only detectable when we're not around.

So, yay, he has been fixed. We are four days in and my paranoia is back. He's more violent than ever. I read he might not trust us now? He stays away mostly from me, won't allow me to clean him or wipe his face or even really pet him.

I guess I just want to know if anyone else experienced this and if Im expecting too much from my little guy too soon...

Thanks for reading!

It can take a couple of months for the hormones to decrease after neutering, so don’t get worried yet…when did you have him neutered?

Very sorry to hear about your boy, it can be distressing when your little guy shows aggression . We have experienced problems with re directed aggression between our two little nudies and although the circumstances will be different to yours, we were recommended by a behaviourist, a supplement called Zylkene (in the UK) which I think is a derivative of mammalian milk, plus a felliway plug in pheromone diffuser. Although the changes were subtle and did seem to work better on our female sphynx more than our boy, there was/is an improvement but maybe check with your vet first . Good luck
