Sorry I haven't updated everyone on what's going on with this bunch of mill kids, 12 IGs arrived here yesterday morning, and the poor darlings where worse then I expected. Aside from minor things like some minor dehydration that could just be from the long trip, these kids have a long list of health problems :( 2 have heart murmurs, all have rotten teeth, 3 of the girls are nearly blind, 1 of the boys we're very suspicious has cancer, and there's one little blue girl in paticular that is so terrified it's hard to even get close to her right now, poor babies have been through heck!

I'll post more later, right now I'm just to tired to post a very long update, but here's a few pictures.

The most timid of the nearly blind girls, poor kid didn't know what to think of the vet exam!

The really scared blue girl - She's starting to bond to one of the vet techs, she finally let her pick her up so we could get this pic

Thanks for the pictures, but more importantly thank you for being the voice for these poor unfortunate dogs. The Blue girl does look very scared, but there is something in her eyes that tells me that she still remembers what it feels like to be loved. She is going to be such a sweet and loving friend to the right person.

Poor babies! So gorgeous! I love the smiling boy. Well done for being such a big hearted person, wishing them all the best forever homes any pet could want.

Ya, that's what I think! Her eyes tell it all, you can see the fear, but you can also see her sweet, sweet spririt trying to come out from behind that! The little blue girl is one of my favorites, I guess I have a thing for the under dogs! She's also the thinnest in this group, it's obvious she's the one the othe other dogs picked on, and after traveling over 1000 in 2 days, being thrown into a strange world she's never experienced before with people she doesn't know, who can blame her for being scared?

As for the smiling boy, oh what a character he is! I'm sure once I have them ready to go up for adoption, he's going to go so fast, his personality is just to die for, they're all a bit reserved right now, but he was the first to come up and start kissing my hands, he is so clearly so very grateful for some love, good food, and good care, and he's going to SMILE about it! He has the most expressive iggy face I've seen in a long time!

Oh, they are beautiful! It is such a terrible shame that they are all in such a poor condition.....but, at least they are in the best of hands now. It breaks my heart especially since I own three dogs of my own.....I hate seeing any in pain....Wishing the best to the babies!

They are beautiful! If I wasn't decided that our next dog is an agility dog, I'd put in an adoption ap! Well, and if we could afford one right now- haha!

*TIME TO BE EVIL* - You know, that cute little boy with the smile on his face is only about 3 years old according to the info sheet I got on them (my vet agrees that's probably close on him - He's in the best shape of the group). Still young enough to train, and IGs can be great agility dogs *wink* I've done alot of agility with Hannah.

Ya, there's something about those old girls that really tugs on the heart string! One of them is 11 :( The boy with the tumor on his leg is also a very sweet guy, he's going to be a hospice case I think, one that just stays in rescue and is loved and cared for until he crosses the bridge. He's probably going to be joining my pack.

Thank you for rescuing the dogs! Phoenix (the sphynx) sent a donation through paypal to Bullie Buddies so be on the lookout. I love greyhounds of all sizes. Phoenix doesn't it know it yet, but I plan to adopt one as soon as I move back to the US (in one year!).

There is nothing wrong with being "Evil" I hope you find him a great home.

Nope, evil works quite well for me ROFL And when I know I've got a dog in a foster home where one half falls in love and wants to adopt and the other half isn't so easy to give in, I'm quite good at sharing my evil and teaching them how to convince the other half to give in LOL I'm sure these guys will all find new homes, but it's going to take time, patience, and ALOT of love to get there!

It's their dirty little trick - Their eyes can say so much, it's how my Hannah stays alive LOL She can be so naughty, she was the absolute WORST puppy I've ever experienced, but one look with those eyes and I'm mush and she knows it!!! This group just looking in their eyes makes me want to cry, you can see the love and trust in those beautiful eyes, they're just afraid to give it you! Berry (the blue girl) especially, poor darling is terrified, if you get to touch her it's a good day :(
