Asking Everyone to Please Pray

I am asking yall to please pray for my Friend Deanna. Her 15 month old Daughter Sydney is in PICU on the vent. Sydney was a premature baby, her parents have done everything they could to protect her.. She went in Sat night with Bilateral Pneumonia and RSV.. By Sunday she was Air lifted to the Childrens hospital and on the vent. They put in 2 chest tubes for pneunothorax's...They also have found small tears in her lungs from the stress..Please Pray for her and her family...Thanks

I will definitely keep them in my thoughts. My son was in the PICU on the vent with RSV when he was one month old (He was born almost a month early as well). It was a rough and harrowing journey but fortunately we know a lot about RSV and pneumonia so keep your chin up if you can, its extremely hard to see your baby like that and it can get pretty rough.. Hugs to your friend.

I don't think there can be anything worse than having a sick child. I don't have any children but i know i'm a reck when my cats are ill...i can only imagine the torture of having a child being so ill.

Thanks everyone for all your thoughts and Prayers it means the world to me and Sydney's family..Just wanted to update y'all. The current Chest X-ray showed no further worsening of the Pneumonia. They tried Turing down the ECMO and she became a little more restless so for her safety they are keeping her sedated. She is still getting the transfusions daily and still on the ventilator. The prayers are working. She seems to be stabilizing. She is not improving but the doctors are hopeful.. As possible I will keep you up dated thanks again for all your prayers. You will never understand just how much it means and how grateful both me and Sydney's family are...
