My 3 year old female has been slowly getting this rash the last 2 years. Started on her legs. When she gets pregnant, it goes away. When she's done nursing her kittens, it starts to come back. This time it has come back, and it has spread to her back, tail and face. I have tried every diet, change of food, shots, topical creams, Im just out of tries. She's pregnant for the last time and it's not going away and I can't give her anything with steriods, so any sugestions? Im bathing her in Emu oil soap from my vet too and thats doing nothing either.

I'm so sorry, it sounds awful. The only thing I can think of is switching to a perfume free laundry detergent (if you haven't already) but seeing that she doesn't have it while pregnant (apart from now) I would think it has to do with hormones. Will you be spaying her after her last pregnancy? It's a long shot, but perhaps it will help!

I hope she feels better soon

Hi, Im sorry your girl is having problems. Have you tried a second opinion or a specialist? Have they done skin scrapings? I dont have any other suggestions, but I hope someone can help her. Let us know what happens.

I definately will. I live 5 hrs away from any other vet so its hard to get out of town to a different vet. I just have to wait till she has her litter the end of July so she can take any drugs they might want to give her.
