Barrie Ontario Sphynx Cat owners?!

I live in barrie and am trying to find some people who have a sphynx cat that would be willing to meet up, i have been interested in the breed for many years but do have a cat allergy, before attempting to get one of these amazing creatures I want to take some time to see how i react to them,

if you live in barrie or know someone in barrie who could help it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Just some reassurance as well. My boyfriend is EXTREMELY allergic to furry kitties and he has absolutley no problems with Snuffie at all. He was allergic to their actual hair & dander and Sphynx are slighty different since their hair "if any" is more like fuzz. He can rub his face in her belly and everything. I hope your able to enjoy a Sphynx just the same! Goodluck and keep us posted!

Hi there, we onll have one little Sphynx and we are about 1.5 hours away from you in Hanover / Walkerton area. And my partner has cat allergies as well and he has not had any problems with her. She's been with us since early December.

I hope you find someone close to you, but if you are in the area let me know and we can meet up.

talk to a breeder close by and visit a few times make sure you hold there kitties for a while. A good breeder won't mind if you do this I'm sure. This will give you a good idea if you will be able to tolerate them or not. good luck I know of a few breeders you can find them on the net but I don't know who I would personally recomend.
