Belly that hangs down

Hi everyone:
Who else has a nudie with their underbelly that hangs low. Is this normal or should I put my Rex on a diet?

Out of curiosity, what is your naked's diet? Age? Sex?

Thank you for the chart. Unfortunately it is blurry but I am sure I can find something similar on the net. Rex is male, and 3 1/2 years old. He eats 1/4 can of wet food (Friskies Indoor Chicken Dinner) in the am. About 10am he has about 1/6 cup of the dry food he eats at night. Later in the afternoon, about 4pm he has 1/3 cup dry food (Max Cat Roasted Chix flavor). He also eats about 4 dry treats a day (Iams Hairball care chicken treats...lol...his 3 siblings have hair).

Hopefully others who feed similarly can reply. But maybe all that tummy is from hairballs!

Especially noticed after neuter /spay
and were not considered overweight at vet

Both my females have that and my male just a little. Vets said they are not overweight and it may just be a breed thing.

Looks like a normal sphynx hanging belly, all skin, no fat if I see it right. My boy Ross has a hanging belly too. Rex is a handsome boy!

@Sheepyshepoo ; definitely normal to have flabby bellies! Hard to tell from pictures.. he's a cutie for sure. Maybe he could stand to lose a few lbs, but I would definitely check the chart to see. Most important that he's happy and healthy!!

My boy Hubbell is definitely on the heavy side, with what my family calls "man boobs", I am working on slimming him down but its hard to only put 1 on a diet when you have 2 cats.
On the other hand my girl Mila has been a bit on the lean side so I have been working on bulking her up, she now has slight belly hang so I think I succeeded. I love them

I know the feeling jlynrobert. Rex has 3 kitty siblings. It is hard to get everyone the same healthy weight.
