She is making me NUTS!!!!! When will it stop?
She is just walking around the house yelling like a fool. I told her yesterday I was going to throw her outside. Then I thought I might no do that, I would just have more kittens:Dizzy::LOL:( she is never outside:Wink:)
They want her milk all dry before they will fix her. How long will that take?
This might be the end of her or I one..LOL:Shok:

my female is fixed- but my parents have a female (not sphynx) who isn't fix. and she does the howling, crying, sticking her butt up ALLLLLL day and night! ugh!- its NOT fun! from my experience it seems to last a few weeks. so im not sure.
i know my female dog is in heat for 3 weeks. i'm not sure if cats are the same way. dogs: they bleed for one week, 2nd week is when they can actually get pregnant, and the 3rd week they bleed again. - again my experience- i'm def no expert

I know cats are not the same as dogs..That's all I know..Someone told me she will just keep going in and out tell she is bred or fixed, and she's NOT getting bred. The guy next door said "just toss her out and let the male's have a go at her and then in a few weeks taker her in and get her fixed":Angry: ..OMG Some people.............She is quiet at night so that may save her life..lol.

YIKES! I better get started on her panties!!!! Lengthof heat: 3-14 days (average of one week). If the female is not mated, she may go back into heat within several days. The period between cycles could range from 2 to 3 weeks between.

Yes she can. There is no schedule for cats like us humans and dogs. It can last 1 day to like 7 then go away for 1 or alot if your lucky. you just never know.

You can trade Blueberry for my Oreo lol
She has been in heat for 3 weeks straight.
Then she goes out of heat for a few days then back in heat for 2-3 more weeks.
She drives me crazy but fixing her would kill her.
My Coco could never be fixed either and would be so loud when she was in heat.
She has not gone in heat since she was 15.
You need to stop the kittens from nurse if you want Blueberrys milk to dry up.
Coco had milk until her kittens were almost 7 months because her girl would not stop nursing.
Meekos milk dried up fast because she got Yoshi off at 8 weeks.
Also when she is altered tell the vet no ketamine it can kill a sphynx.

Also, be aware that cats can have serious health issues from cycling heavily into heat back to back without either being fixed or mated. I hope she goes out of heat quickly and you are able to get her fixed soon :) Girls in heat are horrible!

My girls are in heat non-stop ( or it seems like it) usually will stay in heat for a few days then off for a day or two then right back on. They will continue to go in heat until they are bred. And then, if no pregnancy occurs they go right back into heat. LOL...it's why there are so many cats in the world.
Make sure the kits are totally off her--even just a little will keep the milk running. This too, shall pass...I hope the people that are thinking of breeding are reading this thread....LOL. It's not easy, is it, Shannon? Ya gotta really love it to put up with all the stuff...

AMEN to that..My cat has gone CRAZY:Shok:.
How do you breeders do it????
With a dog you just skip the heat,It's that easy. I really think I would kill her If she was like this all the time.
I opened my window b/c it was a nice day here today, CRAP that only lasted for about 5 mins..LOL.. She was sitting in the window yelling like a FOOL and every boy cat on earth was in my yard:Dizzy:..

Oh I'll show you why she still has milk..Little BUGGERS!!!!! I ran in the kitchen for 3mins and this is what I came back to. I thought she had not nursed them in a week....Silly me..

The little piggies! Well, I can't blame her, she is probably uncomfortable with all the milk not getting drained. LOL, ya can't trust them not to nurse for even a second.

So, Brava, Shannon! Good job...this will pass.....hang in there, GF--you're almost home free.

Here is another nasty little secret...

Girls who are hormonal can and do spray around the house. Oh, it's not like dog spray and not all of them do it, but they tinkle a little here and a little there. GROSS.
