bored kitty!!

Hey guys, Lemmy must be bored out of his mind. He has this new facination with chewing cardboard and paper. He only has like every toy out there on the market and I play with him on the floor all the time, but he won't stop with the chewing. I don't think that he is eating any of it b/c it all ends up all over the floor, but I am not for sure. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do about this?? Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks, lemmysmommy

I actually got the cats a puppy chew toy when they we teething.... if he is teething?

Could be the sound or texture of it.
My Bønne loves to chew on the blue Ikea bags and bubble wrap. I think its the sound.
Does he eat it or just chew?

Jazelle licks plastic bags and loves to eat misc stuff. I have to make sure I keep rubberbands and string away from her. She will eat them! Not sure what it i about the plastic bags she likes..maybe the sound..cause they can't taste that great.

I bought Abby little bones...(they are her size) and she loves them...she just likes to pick them up

my sphynx are like dogs too. they chew on anything and everything but i think their favorite thing is a toy mouse my kids got at mcdonalds when the babe movie came out, they carry that dumb thing everywhere i even found it in the toilet once.....

My cats have every toy out there, but they always choose to play with the ring from the milk jug, a cardboard box, pennies or any thing they should not have.

Bluto LOVES to shred & chew cardboard, he doesn't eat it but he loves to chew on box corners...it looks like we have mice in our house.

I think unless Lemmy is eating it, it's totally normal@

Thanks you guys so much. I don't know what I would do without your imput. Lemmy is 9 months old. I am not sure if he is teething or not. But, I sure like the bone idea!! I will be making a trip to the store soon!!

I was half asleep this morning and heard what sounded like Sophie chewing on the corner of my nightstand. I hope it wasn't that because she hasn't done it before. She likes to chew on paper bags, tape, things that are plastic. Crazy kitty!

Kaci is a chewer as well.... I have had to spray down all the wires in the house and wrap them in aluminum foil or wire hiders..... I wonder if this lessens if there are multiple kitties in the house.....
