i’m really worried and waiting for my vet appointment this tuesday. I’m at a loss for what it could be. I haven’t changed their diet, they have been on Purina Gastro dry food for a long time and i haven’t changed or added anything to their food. no extra stress or change to their environment. the fact that they both are experiencing the same thing makes me think it could be some sort of parasite or viral infection ? both of their stool is normal shade of brown but is basically liquid.

any info or guesses would be much appreciated as i’m concerned and wondering if anyone has experienced this.

Sorry to hear their tummies are acting up. It’s great you have an appointment set up. Don’t forget to bring a stool sample. It is possible it could be a parasite. Even if they don’t go outside you could have brought something in on your shoes possibly.

We had our boy’s teeth done, 2 days later he and his brother had severe diarrhea and it was liquid and one started to throw up. It wasn’t parasites, but he must have picked something up when he was at the vets. Our girl had no issues so it was weird. They were given metronidazole for 5 days and put fortiflora in their wet food once a day. Let us know how you make out. @sphynxjinx

thank you so much for sharing your story!! i will definitely keep you posted. i’ve felt like a bad mom because ive been at work this weekend and cant be next to them while they’re not feeling well. praying it’s just a parasite and deworming does the trick.
