Hey Guys! I just got home from work and noticed my kitty has a small bump under his back leg. Kind of in his armpit I guess. He got his last set of fiv and luek. shots on wednesday so I am not sure if its related. But the shot was in his hip on that side, not his armpit. He is only 16 weeks old and I am kind of freaking out! Has anyone had this happen to their sphynx before?

It looks like it may be a swollen gland. The Lair standby applies here too--check with your vet if it stays the same or gets any bigger in a day or two.

I think he may have taken a fall. Limping on his front leg and this bump on his back. Possibly a hernia? Still eating, sleeping, drinking, and using litter box. My poor baby :(

It appears to be a swollen gland as @Cleopatra Beers has mentioned, most likely from the vaccination - just curious, is there any specific reason why your kitty was vaccinated for FIV? Most breeders void the contract if the FIV or feLV vaccination was given and its generally administered to "at risk" cats. The vaccine can have adverse effects like fever, swollen lymph nodes and others signs of course. I hope its nothing to worry about, I would give the vet a ring to be safe. :)

So I am certain now he took a spill ! Front paw has a nail that doesn't look right and that's the one he is limping on. As for the little lump it isn't bigger it isn't smaller. Going to get him in Monday and get him feeling better. I feel so sad for him this is the worst !

He fractured his little paw but we have a cast now so all is better !!! The lump is going away! The doctor thinks it is just a gland :)
