Bumpy Paws

Hello everyone,

My precious Inari has been battling CKD for awhile now. And for about 3 months, now has had large masses/bumps forming on her paws. They are getting so puffy they break and bleed open. She licks them when they bleed but otherwise don't seem to affect her mobility. I have taken her to all the vets here and no one has the slightest clue what they could be. The current vet I use doesn't want to biopsy because of her kidney state.
Anyone else have this happen? I can post pictures if necessary.

So sorry to hear of this. Yes, please post a pic, it usually helps. Have you recently changed litter or food?

She's been on different food just to get her to eat since she's always been picky. The litter is mostly the same. I rotate through a couple of brands but she's never had a reaction.

If I were you, I, would, take her, to, a University near you.
They have specialist for everything there.
They are very great. I know University of Tenn is.

I wish that was an option. 5 hour drive or 3.5 out of state to the nearest university.

You might have to go and stay all night. They can go on long trips.
Can go a long time without using the litter box.

It looks like an allergy to me. I would stop rotating litters to help rule it out. Same with the food. One at a time so you can see what might be setting it off.

Not all universities have vet programs, so check before you go, if you do. A local vet may be a good place to start.
Also on allergies, exposure must happen first to be allergic to it. So it does not matter if it's been fine before. It changes like a light switch kinda thing.

Is she on meds? If so, did the feet become swollen since then?
