Butterball licking the camera

Yesterday, Walter was licking me with his sandpaper tongue. Just to see how he would react, I licked him back. Gave him a big swipe across his face. He stopped, ****ed his head to the side and looked at me all confused, and then leaned in like he wanted me to keep licking him! I gave him one more little lick on his cheek but then I had to stop because A) I felt really silly and B) He kinda tasted funny.

I would only tell you guys this because I know you won't judge me. This doesn't leave the forum, okay?

Mums the word. You're much more brave than I. You should go on one of those reality shows where they test peoples bravery by feeding them weird stuff.

I don't ever remember a cat's tongue being so rough. Are there tongues generally more rough than a hairy cat? Maybe I just don't remember or I'm just used to my buddies chihuahua licks. He should come with a warning sign that says "may cause chafing."

That's funny, the forum bleeped out one of my words. It wasn't meant to be a bad word, but I guess if you take the "ed" off the end of it and then take it out of context....haha. oops. I guess I should have said "he tilted his head".

Caline has a particularly rough tong, and Toffee has a particularly soft tong, it depends of the cats...
Caline...really....wow...one lick and you're disfigured !
No way to get the same video than this one...totally impossible...only a skeleton could resist with Caline.

I think Walter and Caline have the same tongue. There is no way Walter would be able to lick my face like Butterball licked ElGato's face in the video. I was wincing just watching it.

Walter loves to groom me, too. I try to let him do it, he gets about three licks in before I have to pull away and he leaves a red mark on my skin. He got me once on my eyelid...oh the pain!!

I was wondering if this licking thing was a sphynx characteristic. I mean I've had lots of cats before and never had a licker. From what I can tell almost all of our sphynx's like to kiss us. Do you think it's because our skin is sort of similar to theirs that when they groom us that they think we are just giant sphynx's?

You are too funny not many would tell the truth on what we do:Laugh: I let mine kiss me on the lips and at least once A day I lay Leo on his back and blow on his belly like he was A baby and I really think he likes it.

I let Meecho kiss my lips. If you go up to her and pucker up and say kiss kiss or bo bo (kiss in korean) she will give you a big kiss on the lips. She also loves the belly blows. Once I got so tired I went to get up and the little sucker notted her paws in my hair and held me in place until she was done.
