Hi guys, I get my sphynx next year, the breeder will breed the couple in November and they'll be ready around February 2019. The dad is TICA and the mom is CFA and am just a little confused as to how that works. I'm purchasing a sphynx to breed and the breeder is willing to have over breeding rights, I'm not looking to show the cats in any shows or anything like that. She said they're both purebred, but one is just registered under a different registry than the other. Do any of you guys know how that works? Will the kitten be a CFA or a TICA? And when I'm ready to breed would I need them to be bred with a CFA or TICA? I'm just confused and if anyone knows anything about this, much help would be appreciated!

Yes, you can. But to register the litter, you need to change to TICA or CFA. all it takes is sending a 3 generation pedigree and a fee to change organizations. At least that was the drill when I did it a long time ago.
