Another fun Chadwick story!
I had to try to get some sleep last night because I worked the next night and I had a meeting at work all that morning. I didn't figure it would be a problem because when I'm off work, I've noticed that Chadwick sleeps at night. Well, when I decided that I would go to sleep, little Chadwick decides to lay on my chest (not unusual). When I do not pet him, he scoots over so his back legs are pressing against my throat (unusual). If you have never had a 10.5lb cat laying his weight on your throat (which at this site, I'm sure you have), let me tell you, it ain't that fun! When I put my hands up to lift some weight off before deciding how to remove him from my neck and not get scratched, he starts thinking I'm giving him loves and gets all purry. When I say that, I mean he is almost yelling his purrs and gets really comfy. I don't know if I have ever mentioned this, but when Chadwick gets into love sessions, he starts to drool like a St. Bernard. So, here I am, with a large skincat on my throat in the dark and all of a sudden I feel a drop of mystery wetness on my shoulder. GROSS!!!!!!! After that, I knocked him off of me, scratches be damned, and he decides he is going to jump up and start smacking the blinds, knocking my keys around the counter before finally knocking them into my shoe bin (which I did not know about until I couldn't find my keys this morning), and then getting up on another counter where I had apples still in those plastic bags from the grocery store and rustling those around a bit. Oh, not to mention the little breaks he took from all of that to jump on my stomach and neck some more!
So, I finally get to sleep around 7:15am. That would be dandy if my alarm didn't go off at 7:30am! I wanted to cry!
Oh, best part of all! I never did get sleep and have been slammed at work all freaking night!!!!!
I cannot wait until I get home and find Chadwick trying to sleep...
