I am so totally excited. I got Meecho's pictures back from the cat show and FINALLY you can see her eye color The last one is just too funny. When I turned my back she saw her escape to her stroller and we ended up getting some great shots with her in it because that is where she felt safest, but he got her escape

It's funny that you mentioned Meecho's eye color finally being noticeable because I have that same problem with my Siamese cats, especially Sydney. It seems that no matter how I take her picture, her eye color (which is actually a beautiful deep blue) just doesn't show up in the photos. Sometimes I have a little better luck with Reno, but getting his blue eyes to show well in photos can be a challenge, too. The photographer did a beautiful job photographing Meecho's blue eyes!

I tried everything when taking her picture from using different camera settings, different lighting, focusing on something just over her head and the best I would get was the blue on the edges with a bright yellow center. I think it's a fact that they have those multi layer blue eyes. When I was looking at some pictures he took of siamese cats I noticed they are the same. Sometimes when I watch her I swear her eyes are kinda swirling sometimes. I just wish I had gotten pics when she was younger because her eyes were even more breath taking before. I mean I love them now but before when they were still kinda finding their own shade they would just take my breath away. You could actually see the layers from a bright teal blue to a dark blue to green to yellow and they would focus in and out...just remembering them makes me giddy I want to take her to a different photographer though because I want some professional candid shots. I did a search in my area and there happen to be a lot but they are soooooo expensive. This guy only charged me $59.00 and I got 25 pictures. The other ones I've searched all have a sitting fee of at least $200 and that doesn't include the cost of the pictures. Maybe for my special treat with my profit share check next year I'll pay for it. I would love some pic's with me and Meecho, but I don't want like a sitting picture but maybe one that they just catch of her kissing me or something.

I've got a friend who is a photographer and I've always wanted to hire her but even with the "friend discount", I can't afford it..but since I'm a graphic artist, I was able to do some bartering with her and finally have my appointment next month to get all 4 cats' photos done!! I can't wait!

I did some trade with her last year and got my dog's photos done, and I'm so glad I did it because he passed away a few months later...here are some of the photos she took of Virgil...

This is who I want to take Meecho's and Suki's picture but their sitting fee starts at $225 and each 8x10 photo is $50 so it will really have to be a special treat for me to do this. But I love that the location is a farm house and I can just imagine what they would look like. A lot of the other photographers come to your home but that would mean I would have to clean:Laugh:

Wow! They're awesome. It's expensive, but something you'll keep and cherish forever.
