I've noticed my Sphynx is not acting quite herself. She's still eating but seems almost depressed? I spent a good half an hour to get her in the mood to play and only after a lot of effort did she play. (She's normally a crazy cat running round the house 100 miles an hour) She just sleeps constantly. I'm wondering if it is because she's cold? But then I've known her to run around to keep warm. (Where we rent the windows are blown, it doesn't keep heat in as well as it should)

I've noticed as well she doesn't like being picked up anymore. She used to love it before, now she struggles. She's the sort of cat who jumps on you and wants cuddles, strokes, the full lot. Now if she does jump on you, she'll take off if you stroke her.

Any ideas guys? I want my little one back!

She is spayed? Is this your first inter or cold weather with her? I know our 2 sphynx will stay in hiding if the house is cold, as soon as the heat comes on they will venture out. As sphynx get older they can nap more frequently then when they had the pent up energy as kittens. A vet visit would not hurt. :)

She is spayed, she's 8 months old? When we got her 4 months ago, the weather was a lot warmer in the UK than it is now. I'll keep an eye on her, I don't want to take her to the vets unless it's necessary, but if it continues I will. She spent a lot of time playing with my mum's ragdoll for the majority of Christmas as I was staying with my parents. Maybe she's lonely, I'd love to get her a friend. :)

I aways say throw a snuggly blanket in the dryer and use it to your advantage when you settle in for the night. She might just like your lap with a warm blanket on it.
