Gulliver has little scabs all over his tail the rest of his skin is fine, so he must be chewing on it... as if his tail didn't creep out people enough
My first sphynx, Buster, liked to chew on his tail all the time. He had a little kink in his tail, but our vet said it was probably like that from the woumb. Of my 2 new little guys, Mr. Blackwell isn't very interested in his own tail but he LOVES to chase the big furry cat's tail! Bluto, though, is just as interested chewing his own tail as Buster was. He does it all the time!
Meecho doesn't really chew on her tail but she does attack it quite often. She has a real love/hate relationship with it. Sadly I kinda tease her about it too, like when she is sitting still I will take her tail and smack her nose with it and she will grab it, bite down hard on it and give it the mean look I know I'm shameful but it's just so funny that she actually blames her tail for hitting her on the nose:Laugh:
That's funny!!
Helen's tail curls around and touches her on the back and then all of her back skin scrunches up, like it tickles her, and then she whips her head around and hisses at it!
You would think they realize that it is actually part of them
My cat knows it a part of his body but he still enjoys fooling around with it every so often. I believe they think it's just something fun to do when they're bored. Some people do the exact same thing when it comes to their body parts - *cough*.
