Has anyone had experience with cholangiohepatitis and triaditis, this condition sometimes occurs concurrently with pancreatitis and is called triaditis.

I don’t have any experience. But I am here for you. When Ellie was diagnosed with ARVC I never found anyone else with cat experience. Maybe you can find information from related illnesses too?

She is still jaundice, yellow urine, yellow coloured poo her bile salts were causing dry skin and her anorexia is improv but she’s showing an interest in food this past week it’s just the issue of keeping food in and stopping vomiting at the moment.

Hoping for better bloods tomorrow.

I did find another person who had this problem on the forum but their last post was 2010 I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Could just mean they aren’t active anymore. Plenty of people pop in here for a singular issue and we never hear from them again.

Bad news the next few weeks will continue to be touch and go. : (

The vet was not happy with the bloods today and says she needs more supportive drug therapy. :(

Given her skin and allergy sensitivies a compounding pharmacy will be used.

Drugs will be:

SAMe
Ursodeoxycholic acid
Clavulox
Maropitant

If this doesn’t work then steroids.

We started on:SAMe and Ursodeoxycholic acid

Jaundice has gotten worse.

Despite all the meds and hospital stays bloods came back worse.

We are rushing her to hospital again. The vet said she will be in at least four days on fluids and steroids.

She will remain on Clavulox and anti-nausea indefinitely.

I’m so heartbroken I don’t want her to die.

So sad right now. Have spoken to the vet twice and she was due to come home today but her bloodwork is not good. Has been on catheter for 24 hours a day since Monday again.

Her billirubin levels are rising.

I’ve asked for another ultrasound to check again for blockages of the bile ducts.

This is so hard for her.

We brought her home this afternoon.

She is skin and bones it’s heartbreaking.

However the prednisolone makes her hungry so it’s a break from sadly having to coax food for hours.

Feeding hourly small feeds to avoid vomitting.

Drugs:

Stopped antibiotics
Started liquid prednisolone
Started weekly B12 injections
Continue anti nausea
Continue SamE and U.acid

Looking at probiotics.

Once she’s out of the woods (fingers crossed) the vet said diet changes.

Ugh.

Poor thing Lair prayers for baby L.
