Hi all! I hope everyone is doing great and had an amazing weekend. At the moment, Kenji has this sore/rash/wound circular looking red patch on his arm and it’s really concerning me, but before I take him to the Vet I wanted to come on here and see if anyone has experienced the same with one of their Sphynx. I haven’t changed his diet, his bowels are doing fine, he’s not lethargic at all, he seems normal. But this rash has been here for about a week and hasn’t gotten better or gone away. I have some entederm ointment that was prescribed to Kenji on his last vet visit but I’d need to put a cone on him and I don’t want him to suffer if it’s not something major. All advice is welcome/helpful and thank you in advance.

If they prescribed an ointment, a short time in a cone is worth using to hopefully clear it up. They most likely keep licking it and it won’t heal if they continue. It’s great it hasn’t gotten worse or that more have developed so that is a plus.

I’m going to get him an inflatable cone so it’s a bit more comfortable. But i think he may have ringworm… :(

Any spots on the kitten…if so you are most likely correct and both need to be treated.

There were spots but they are fading away. I just ordered a black light I’m going to have to clean my entire house, my friend told me and something about a sulfur bath?

Hi there :)
I didn’t see anything with the black light- going to return. However I took them both to the vet and they were positive for ringworm. They began treatment today. vet prescribed Itrafungol and Miconosol topical cream.
