Yea just rub it on and then bathe them! It loosens up the dirt and it just comes right off with a sponge! Its great under the arms/belly/bottom/nose etc! And it makes them smell delicious! Oh and Mo feels soooo soft!
The coconut oil definitely helps but it doesn't break up all the oil on Sophie's claws. Not in the paw skin folds but gunk on the claws themselves. I do rub the coconut oil on them and it must help some but it is still hard to scrape off. Anyone else have that happen?
I think it is great on her belly which gets all dirty when it is time for a bath!
Yes, I have found the oil does not help get the GUNK off of the nails themselves. But I have found that using a drop of ear cleaner pulls it right off! lol I know its not meant for that but I was out of wipes one night and tried that and it came right off with no effort at all hardly. I use wipes on her nails 99% of the time but I've used her ear cleaner on her nails in a pinch.
I've used the ear cleaner but I feel bad because I've accidentally gotten it in my mouth and it tastes horrible I feel bad for her. I use a wipe, the ear cleaner and dilute some in warm water and it does get it off just not as quickly she wants is probably the key. How does she get her nails so filthy anyway!?
