Berlin has been called many colours: lilac (when she was still a tiny baby), chocolate and white (on her papers), blue and white... What colour is she really? I'm no expert on cat colouring, so I thought maybe someone here could help me. This photo is pretty spot on for her colour. Isn't she purrty?

(You can't see it in this photo, but she has a little lambchop shaped pink mark right in the middle of her back too).

It's always hard to tell colors from pics....but my guess would be seal mink and white....do you know what colors his parents are ?

A lot of breeders call there cats choc or lilac....but most of the time they aren't....choc and lilac are hard colors to tell....when there is doubt....you should dna test the cat....
I've got a choc mink boy....but we got him dna tested on color before we bought him....just to make sure he really is a choc:Wink::Smile:

I'm with Gizmo on the Seal Mink & White. His eyes look turquoise / aqua so that makes him a mink, and as to the seal, the DNA is the only surefire way to tell.

Butternuts is considered to be a choc. He's more of a pinkish grey color. He has started to show more of a brown color with age.

Your baby is gorgeous! She looks a lot like Niles my little guy, except she has nose coloring. (His just gets dirty from food and hates me cleaning it...)

He came to me as chocolate and white. His dad was black and white, mom was lilac I think.

Niles really only has chocolate on his ears, but is a grey/taupe/mushroom color with white tuxedo markings.
