Yes my friends from the USA I spelled colour with a ``u`` LOL I am from Canada... I kept reading the information on this site and everyone has a fancy name to describe the colour of their cat. I couldn`t quite understand what was what so I thought... God I cannot be the only one out there that doesn`t have a clue what you guys are talking about so I thought I would share my internet quest with you... I came up with a couple of sites that seem to explain it all... The first one is from TICA http://www.tica.org/members/publications/ucd.pdf

and the second one is from a Breeder who I have no idea who they are but they have a lovely description complete with pictures so you know what they are talking about.
I am not sure if it is against the rules to post a Breeder`s site but it is not to promote the Breeder but the intent is to educate the members who are like me, not quite as knowing about all of the colour variations out there.
The second link seems to be a little easier for the novice to understand. Boy I sure cannot believe how many colour combinations these guys can come in! Wow mine is just plain black!
Now I want one in every colour! My husband would kill me :LOL::LOL:

It's a problem for me too. Sphynx are like the Baskin Robins of cats. I want to taste all the flavors!

I have a seal mink girl and a chocolate and white tabby sphynx coming soon. At some point, I'd love to have a pointed (any color) and a blue and a lilac and a black! I don't really think I can ever have all of those but it's nice to have a wish list! Of course, YOU could let me live vicariously with black Dobby!

Right now I have a Flame (red) point boy and I'm getting a seal point girl at the end of May. Just found a beautiful tortie girl so I'll have 3 by July! There should be a vaccine for this.

Being new to Sphynx cats, I really appreciate a post giving me lots of information to sink my teeth into. It will take me a bit of time to digest all this information. Thanks for helping drag me down the information highway.

Nope...you have a black one and a cream with white one.....that's a huge difference....white kittens will only be born....if one of the parents is white all over....if the parents are with some kind of colour....there are never all white kittens in that litter :Smile:

Oooh, I like that second site with the pics! Good find :)

I have a question about colors if any one with expertise can answer it for me... PM me, though :)

I am getting my first Sphynx, and awaiting pics. I did not see on this last site any Torbie's? Anyone have any pics or places I can go look to see what these look like? Thank you!
