After the newest addition to my household, the wife is considering getting a kitty as well.

She's torn between getting another Sphynx, a Bombay or a Singapura.

Since I'm rather methodical, I have located breeders I'm comfortable with for Sphynx(of course!), and for Bombays.

I realize Singapuras have small litters, and are uncommon, but I have not been able to locate any breeders in the US with contact info.


So my question is this: Does anyone know of any Singapura breeders, and would be willing to pass along their contact info?

/on a side note what is the correct plural of Sphynx? besides 'awesome' that is... :Smile:

I had never heard of a Singapura so I looked them up. They sure are cute! I'm sure whatever you decide on will be a great fit with your sphynx. Good luck in your search. Let us know what you end up getting. :Smile:

i'd never heard of a singapura, either. when i looked them up, i came across it has a small list of breeders. i didn't look at any of their sites, so i don't know if any are responsible or not.

I've always wanted a Singapura myself for many years now, but had no idea where to find a breeder. Singapura cats are extremely rare, even more rare than sphynx cats. I'd hate to see what the price tag is on one of those petite little cuties!

Surprisingly, they're priced about the same as a Sphynx! But, yeah, really hard to find.

I just saw one in person last year for the first time. SO CUTE! Tiny little kitty with HUGE eyes! :Adore:

I see Singapuras at the showsI go to.
I came very close to getting one.
Bombays are great also.
My Patches was half Bombay.
Singapuras are the smallest breed of cat in CFA.
I will look in my catalog and see who the breeders were.
There should be some at the show I am going to this weekend.

I've never heard of them before. Of course I googled them tho - very pretty. I hope your able to find a breeder with in the US, if I come across any I will defintley let you know. It's our dream to one day own a Savannah..omg - they are so exotic!
