I can't remember, is she spayed? I really think there is something
medically going on with her. It's one thing to be vocal, but, to do it
constantly, no breaks in between much. Her not sleeping good and just
meowing, doesn't want to be held, petted, but constantly Moses. Won't
play and Meows. There is something going on.
She might need to be taken to a specialist. Have you had blood work
done on her to check everything that can be checked? Are you sure she isn't deaf?
She could have a chemical imbalance. You need medical help, I think.
Please keep us updated on her.

I tend to agree with @Hairless Blessing, that perhaps there is a condition still undiagnosed. Maybe find a vet skilled in behavorial medicine? It seems odd that little Billie is crying all the time and not acting like a normal kitten (playing, into everything you're doing). I do hope things work out. I'd hate to see the boyfriend have to find a new home! (Sorry to make light of this but I couldn't resist).

I agree with the above post in that - have you thought about a specialist or an Holistic vet? Sounds like something is going on out of the norm. Or she is just not really happy/comfortable with something and you guys haven't figured it out yet. Did the behavior get worse or better when you added the younger cat?

I don't want to jinx it, but she has been doing REALLY well the last 2 days!! We have 2 friends living with us (have been for about 6 months now so it's not new to her), and I had a big talk to them because I don't think they were 100% following our.. completely ignore her when she meows, rule. So since EVERYONE is doing that now, and going out of our way to pet her when she's quiet.. there has been huge improvement. Also I think the calming collar might be playing a good part too! Also, even the last 2 days she has been more affectionate, even coming up to us to pet her!

She was spayed the end of March, and when they did that they also did bloodwork and a health exam. I really don't think it's something medical.

I'm praying that this behaviour keeps up, but if not, I will look into seeing a behaviour specialist, and be scheduled another vet appointment. Fingers crossed!!

My fingers are crossed for you too! 2 days down a few more to go and she will hopefully "get it." Great job in figuring out it might be the others not following the rules...lol.

I hate to say it, but the last few days her meowing is almost back to what it was. Not SO much during the day, mostly in the morning for hours on end. :( I really don't know... we have all been ignoring her when she meows, paying LOTS of attention to her when she's quiet, trying to cuddle and pet as much as possible, she's always fed, still have her calming collar and diffuser, and still drinking her calming liquid before bed. She sleeps fine through the night, just at about 6-7am is when it starts now.. until about 9 or 10 when we get up.

Yes, she could be hungry and wanting to be fed. I would feed her and lay
back down and see if that calms her down.
If not and she starts this again. There is something seriously wrong.
You need to take her to a specialist. Just praying it will be alright.

My kitten wakes me up every day at 4:00-4:30 am. She gets lots of exercise has her food etc., she just wants me up. She makes all sorts of noises, knocks stuff over etc. if I ignore her she sits on me, so I put up with it, cause I won't lock her out of my room. I just go to bed earlier! :)

The knocking stuff over is what kills me. The rest is stuff I can put up with.

How much exercising is she getting? Do you use a fishing pole type toy and let her run and jump for an hour each morning and each evening?
She gets a decent amount of exercise.. the thing is, she pretty much hates every toy we try to play with lol, she has absolutely no interest in the fishing pole type ones! And with a lot of toys too, she'll chase it for a minute, then just stop and completely ignore it.|

McNulty is getting fixed next week, so we're hoping maybe that will have some positive effect on her! I'll keep everyone updated, thanks so much for all the replies!!

I was looking up some Jackson Galaxy videos last week, it's too late here to watch that one now, but I will check it out tomorrow and hopefully it's one I haven't seen!

In regards to the not free feeding.. I have always free fed, and have always been told by breeders that because of their high metabolism they need to be free fed if you're feeding kibble! Just recently I started giving them wet food as treats.. so maybe I will start that as a night time treat before bed?

You could give her wet morning and evening. Plus, free feed Dry food.
That's what I do. Most do, unless, they are on a raw diet or strict diet.
Hope this helps. Bless her heart, something is going on.
I know you would like to know what? So you can fix it. It will surely
work out and you will find out what it is.
