Dark patch on arm

Our guy Niko has this odd-looking nickle sized patch on his under arm area. It's sort of raised in parts, we've tried black seed oil but it's still there. I'm hoping it's not something serious, he does have other bumps and marks but that's due to his rough housing, he's an alpha male, very active and climbs and jumps an often gets scrapes and bumps from being so active.
Should we take him to a vet?

The picture is a bit blurry when I zoom so it’s hard to tell. Is it dry or wet? Has it grown in size from when you noticed it or gotten smaller?

No he doesn't scratch it. It has maintained it's size but it came over a few weeks and we only noticed it a few days ago

I’d go to a vet just to be safe and maybe request a skin scraping.

Those are great pictures. Unfortunately, I’m still not sure. It looks more like a fabric burn to me. If it isn’t spreading or growing or causing pain or itching I would just let it heal. But if anything is off, definitely go get that skin scraping.

He's very active, and large too, one of the largest Sphynxes we've seen. 16lbs, muscular, 19" tall when sitting, he rough-houses, some times he sniffs light bulbs, and on occasion has slight marks on his body, lots of scars from jumping/climbing etc. But this is under his arm.
