Decibel was spayed the day before yesterday.
We took her to the no.1 place in Denmark. The place where all vets are educated.
It was expensive but worth every penny.
Due to the hole in her heart, they had 1 person monitoring her under the whole procedure and they used special anaesthesia.
They even tried to make the incision nice.
She is healing nicely, no pain (She is on painkillers) and she was just about unaffected when we got her home and was playing and chasing Bønne like she usually does. I have never tried that before. All my other cats have been drunk and nauseous.
Just wanted to share.

I am glad she is doing well.
My Wrinkles had a problems after she was altered a few weeks ago.
Her paw became huge.
We believe it was from the strap she was tied down with.

I know. I commented on it. :)
Decibel are as I said totally unaffected so far. Thank god. Her incision is a bit swollen, but that is normal when it is healing. The only thing that irritates me is that I cant bathe her. I can already see that I didnt do a good job wednesday and she already have dirty spots allover.
Must be patient. :LOL::LOL::LOL:

I hated that with Wrinkles also.
I hated showing her with her not being bathed.
I did the best I could cleaning her for the show.
You might see some lumps and it is nornal.
Wrinkles still has 2 lumps.
They are the dosolvable stitches that are inside.

I have a small update. Day 4 is just about over and Decibel is already healed, or at least almost.
Still not bathing her. But her incision is so nice.
I still cant believe the job they did.
I have never seen a cat recover that quickly and without any major pain. (Or so I assume based on her playing, running and bullying already the same day.)
Might have something to do with them filling her with drugs I normally only see at work. (Have spent the last 4 month working with addicts.)
But no matter what, I am no longer afraid of any complications.

It's nice when you can finally exhale and relax a little, isn't it? Glad you can do it now with Decibel.
