Dirty Sphynx: brown spots on belly

I have a one an a half year old grey and pink sphynx. He gets dirty a few days after a bath or a wipe down. I usually only bathe him once a month. Yesterday I noticed these brown spots that feel “raised” on his belly and his skin looks irritated too. I just bathed him and the spots are still here (pics are after the bath). Any tips on what this might be? I do use pine litter so I’m thinking that could be one reason. Thanks!

does it wash off with warm water/face cloth?

I have not used pine litter, surely members with experience with it can chime in. i know some kitties can be sensitive to pine and wheat litters.
is the pine litter something you recently started using?

can you email pic to vet?

It didn’t wash off with the pet wipes I used or when I bathed him this morning. I’ve been using pine litter since I got him so he’s definitely used to it by now. I’ll see if I can get in this week to see my vet.

It looks like flea allergy. The brown stiff looks like what my dogs get on their bellies when they have fleas. Sometimes, it's the only evidence. One of my dogs is allergic to the fleas and gets red bumps on her pink skin. Monthly flea medication during the summer months may be in order. Is there another pet in the house that the cat might have gotten the fleas from?
