Hey Everyone,

I was hoping I could get some advice. I've had Lady Godiva for 4 years and she developed this brownish mark that spreads. I took her to the doctor, and they gave me a steroid spray and it went away for a few months but then it came back and started spreading.

I took her to another doctor and she noticed a slight pinkish rash around the brownish Mark and she gave me a cream and antibiotics. It went away again but then came back.

I don't want to put her on antibiotics all the time has anyone seen this before? Is there something natural I can do to help her with it? She does not lick it very much only to clean but it is not obsessive. She is eating drinking, and playing fine. It starts off as a small brownish spot and then spreads here is a picture of it.

Thank you everyone in advance for any advice you may have.

@Lady Godiva
What was the actual diagnosis at the vet ?
Did they mention yeast ?

Healing vibes sent

Some kitties get yeast infections from certain litters like worlds best litter.
Corn based litters from what I have read -
Please keep us updated often

,any of us have switched to unscented litter
Dr elseys unscented and a few others are popular

I use Fresh step unscented, but I've tried I think it was a walnut litter too.

Personally , I would try slowly transitioning to an unscented litter
Hopefully that would bring relief

I never had Senstive kitties to food and litter like I do with Sphynx

They keep us on our toes that's for sure

Definitely keep us updated with your vets diagnosis and treatment plan
It will be beneficial to other members too
