I have a 4 month old Don Sphynx who I love like she's my own child! She has quite a lot of fuzz, on her back, tail, nose and her feet are full on furry. I was just wondering if this is normal? We got her from a reputable breeder and both her parents were completely hairless, she was also hairless when we first saw her at 3 weeks old. Will is disappear or will she always be fuzzy?

I'll adore her either way, she could grow a full coat and I wouldn't care. I'm just curious.

Bea is gorgeous. I know some sphynx grow some furr during the winter that falls out in summer. Other keep their furry coat. If I remember it correct Don Sphynx tend to be more furry when they're kittens but I can be wrong!

Awe. She's so cute. One of my sphynx is pretty much naked and other has a bit of short fur on his back. He's super soft!

Donskoy has different genetics than Canadian sphynx. While some sphynx grow fur later, Donskoy coat usually dissapears/falls out when the cat grows up.
Other than that, no matter the parents hairlessness, donskoy come in a few versions of coat - bald, flocked, velour and brush. Flocked and Velour have small amount of hair on their body, while brush is furry and usually dissapears with time.

This is my cat Silvio who is a mix of donskoy and canadian sphynx. You can clearly see how Don genetics works. He was brush coated as a baby and as he grew up, his coat fell out - except for feet and face.
