hello, I got an email E card from rmcats from gmail. I only knew of the yahoo email so was wondering if legit and not a hack. I know some of my fb peeps have been hacked in the past.
I apologize in advance if it is legit from a lair member

** I did recognize the email address and did not open in incase it is not legit.
if it is from a lair member, pls send me a PM conversation here on sphynxlair.

I was afraid to open it because of E card scams out there, sharing for info:

"E-card scams are a type of online fraud that use deceptive techniques to trick people into clicking on links or downloading attachments that can install malware on their devices. These scams can be sent via email, text, or social media"

Thanks for this info. I had not heard about E-card scams. It’s always good to play it safe.

Hmmm, I had not heard of ecard scams either, but after all the trainings at work, i always look at the @blahblahcard.com from the inward address, if it looks like something I might want to open. Then i go online independently to see if its from a legit site. Too much work for a greeting card so no need to open that…but i look up everything that looks suspicious even if it is @itcompany.com and I don’t have personal business with them. Good to be cautious.
