Well, she’s interested in the bird feeder but doesn’t have the energy to get out of her bed to go look at the birds. She just stays and watches them from afar.

Well, we had our recheck today. The cardiologist said Ellie looks much better. She said most of the fluid has come off so we’re not going to make any changes in the meds. I’m relieved. Fluid buildup again is inevitable, but I hope not for a long time.

Yes I’m very excited and hopeful. My job now is to continue to medicate and monitor her breathing (rate, effort, sound). I’m supposed to see them again in 4 months but I can call and get in early if need be. Today’s visit was another $726.97. Geez medicine is expensive. Thank God for insurance and thank God for Care Credit so I can charge it until I get the insurance reimbursement.
