Everybody loves Gummi!

Ollie (the dog) does not share his food with anyone! Before Gummi was sick, she had no special food bowl privileges, now he shares his breakfast with her every morning! Sometimes she will even sit between his paws and eat:Laugh: Notice that Truth is sitting close by hoping for a chance at the bowl, but if she tries to sneak in, Ollie will snap at her. Only Gummi is allowed in the bowl!

She is still very shy and scared. She is walking well on a leash now though She also has not snapped at the kids anymore, since I have had them helping me feed , walk and brush her. Her tail stays between her legs and when petted she gets very stiff. I am hoping that with time and love she will come around and start to see that she doesn't have it so bad here. She is happiest when we leave her alone. Once school starts back, I am going to start taking her on morning walks with Ollie.

She had a very traumatic transition. It may take a little time, but I'm sure she'll come to realize to realize she is safe and can trust you.
