The other day I noticed that Jade's eyes aren't exactly the same color. She is white with green eyes and her dad was an odd-eye. While I know she is not an odd eye, I wondered if the slight variation in color from one to the other was a sign of carrying the gene for odd eye?
I'm a genetics fan. I have a sugar glider breeding program and some of our gliders that carry certain genes display a slightly different coloring than a glider that does not carry the gene. So that got me wondering. I cannot find a whole lot about sphynx genetics online so I thought I was inquire here.
Her right eye is very green but her left eye is gold/green.
Looking straight at her photos it would be the left eye green in the pic and her right eye goldish green.
Thoughts?
