I have four girls and they all get along, their ages range from 5 to 2. A year ago in May I brought home my fourth girl. The introduction went well and one of my girls treated her like it was her baby they are two peas in a pod.

We lost our orange cat and my daughter found a rescue orange girl that was 4 months old when we brought her home, we did the introduction process having her in the room and putting Blankets with the smells of each other so they can smell the scent. It’s been almost 6 weeks now and all my girls do is stalk and torture her. This morning I jumped out of my skin they were fighting inside of my sliders blinds. I’ve bought feliway plus in’s one regular and one Optima, plus the spray and it hasn’t helped at all.

I’ve been all over the internet looking for a solution or something else I can try. I read that you can give them CBD/Hemp oil has anyone tried it before, wanted to hear any experience you’ve had using it before I even try it and if it had good or bad results. If you have can you let me know the brand you used

Any advise will be helpful. Here are the culprits.

Shoot, that can be so stressful. I do not have experience with CBD. the issue is all of them are stalking her, so she is lowest on the totem pole for sure. Do you have plenty of cat trees or cat shelves? Often in multiple cat homes creating vertical spaces gives them the ability to naturally separate them more so they can have more personal space.

@Lilmustangchick , awh.. been there years ago. my mom too. she added a female and the resident female was not having it. my mom was soo stressed and thought she would have to return the newbie. I told her to hang in there. it took a couple of months. then they were best buddies but it was some battles till the pecking order settled.

I put a tall 72" cat tree with a small 24" base in the main area. it was used as a perch by either the resident kitties and or newbie as a safe place to watch.
I personally had to separate my one boy for time outs! he was a brat, huffed and puffed. he hated the feliaway diffuser and would sniff it and growl at it so I chose to remove it. I have not used cbd oil. I let them work out the pecking order and if it got too rough I would separate. if they were still being tooo rough I would use the kitty safe room and do supervised intros armed with pole toys as a distraction and toss some treats. I would use the kitty safe room when I went out, then work on intros again when I got home. it was as labor of love. I was nervous about him fitting in .. well, now he is the most cuddly to the others. would never have imagined he would be so loving and motherly to the others. they are all seniors now and life is good. hang in there.

Such stressful moments. I don't have experience with CBD. Hope other members can give advice. Do you feed them seperatly? Adding extra litterboxes? Blankets and beds? That's all I can think of. Hope the soon will settle and stop pestering the newbie

I know how stressful the fighting can be . My two(now sadly one) used to get on brilliantly then due to an incident with a neighbours cat, developed what we now know was an example of re directed aggression, however your situation is probably quite different. Definitely agree with plenty of cat trees/access to high places , litter trays (we even contacted an animal behaviourist for help eventually and she advised one for each cat, plus one, and also play , distracting them with various toys . if possible) and also suggested a kind of food supplement called Zyklene, I think it is a kind of milk derivative that simulates some elements in the milk of lactating females that is supposed to calm them down. It comes in capsules that you can break open and mix with their food. Like you I found felliway didn't work. Eventually the situation did ease but took quite a while and a lot of patience, Good luck, my thoughts are with you x

I’m dealing with something similar in my home right now as well. I’ve found it very helpful to keep an eye on the instigating cats and cut them off at the first sign, which is usually staring. Right now we are using a water bottle if the cat does not listen to our commands to stop, but @Catzzzmeow recommended canned air so we will try that soon as well.

I have the plug ins two different brands. All of the spray Jackson Galaxy has and the water bottle. Out of my four girls one doesn’t care, one is starting to play with her a little and the other two torture her. She’s not innocent she will smack them when they are under the blankets. I just hope as the months go by they will all go along

When first introducing my dominant female short hair calico named Quartz and our baby boy sphynx Hairy, there was a def period where my girl was upset. We kept them in 2 separate areas of the house, those zones became their "safe zones". They would retreat there if they were annoyed. Once they were able to be in the same room we used the laser pointed to evoke play. We would initiate this when Q would hiss and growl and it would take the attention away. Also we had/still have separate litter boxes (even though my sphynx prefers Qs litter box!)and food bowls. It took them a solid 2-3 weeks to be able to deal with eachother! I wish you the best!!!
