Well it's been up and down for Uber with the temporary food from the butcher shop. He chowed down on the first serving. The second one he picked at, only ate about half. This morning he didn't eat breakfast at all so we modified the preparation. He decided to eat 3/4ths an ounce of the mix lightly cooked in a drizzle of olive oil.

We have noticed this mix is much drier and lighter in color than his usual food. Husband was commenting that he thinks it is fattier and they probably press out all the juices before they freeze it. We will see how it goes at dinner time and will be serving it up like we did for 'brunch'.

I'm really glad we are picking up the shipment of the usual food tomorrow! We are going to be setting aside one of the chubs as a mixer for if we need to do the temporary food again. I'm also going to be asking Uber's former mom about what bones he liked for teeth care.

Are you using a prepared mix with the meat? If not, are the bones, organs and muscle meat in the required ratios? Are you adding salmon oil and taurine?
