Hiiii!!!!! I am transitioning Shiv from kibble (yellow bag purina kitten, what she was sent to me on) to a fully wet/ raw diet. I give her tiki cat wet food and stella and chewys morsels (duck, rabbit, turkey) but wanting to implement more brand variety and work our way to raw. I add water to her food for extra moisture but would love to implement more wet foods! she loves tiki cat but it is pricey and not always available. I get it as much as I can but what are your alls favorite brands? Open to dehydrated foods as well, she seems to have liked all of stella and chewys, was not crazy on the rabbit though.

I love Wellness and Orijen wet foods for my Toly. He used to be raw but we had some difficulties with it and had to transition him off. Are you looking into whole prey or ground raw?

My cat likes Stella and Chewy wet kitten food. She pretty much likes that brand. But I don't know if it's all brands but Stella and Chewy doesn't seem consistent. When I got her first bag of kitten kibble it was bigger. And after a few bags I think they changed something because the kibble size got smaller. The first bag I got of her freeze dried food was soft and broke apart easier. The second bag I got was much harder pieces and I didn't think much of it until I got the third bag which was soft again. So now I am on the lookout if I get a bag that is not soft. Their kitten canned food also looks a bit different and will vary here and there.

I have tried tiki cat wet food but she doesn't like it. She has tried the Ziwi Peaks canned and she likes that but it is a bit pricey. She also has tried Ziwi Peaks dehydrated food and likes that too. But it is pricey and it may be a learning curve for some cats eating that texture of food. But she loves that too. I stopped buying Ziwi Peaks because I rather spend my money on raw food I feed her. Also, I think Ziwi Peaks was bought by China.

She also likes Primal freeze dry nuggets and Stella and Chewy Freeze dried (I have only tried rabbit version since she doesn't get rabbit in her diet). The Primal nuggets is very hard to break vs the Stella and Chewy. I break the pieces and feed them as is since she already drinks a lot of water and gets moisture from her raw food. Her base diet currently is raw chicken, raw chicken liver, raw chicken hearts, and raw lamb. I rotate between chicken and lamb but I think she prefers the chicken. I don't know if it is because I just introduced the lamb a couple of weeks ago. She eats about 1/4 a cup of Stella and Chewy kitten kibble a day which I leave for her to graze on. She also gets the Primal freeze dried nugget and/or the Stella and Chewy rabbit which I break apart for her to graze on as well but she does a faster graze with those lol. I keep the Stella and Chewy wet kitten food on hand because there have been a few days when she wouldn't eat her raw food so I had to mix it in. She also gets some cooked salmon once in a while and some canned sardines once in a while. So far she has not had any allergies to any of the foods and tolerates them well. You really never know what foods or meats are really going into your cat's food. As long as you buy foods without the really bad ingredients, everything else above that might be pretty much the same. (Stella and Chewy freeze dry highlights they have no peas in their freeze dry, yet they have peas in their dried kibble). So buy what is cost effective and what your cat tolerates well, especially if you are incorporating raw.
