I have finally decided to make the switch to raw for Bane and Fluffy. I have plenty of extra time and I have done lots of research. However, a lot of the blogs I have read seem to contradict themselves. Some say not to feed cow and pork, while others say to feed cow and pork. Then others say feeding twice a day is fine, but some say you have to feed at least three times a day. It's pretty confusing. I want to make sure my babies are getting the best. I just bought grain free, high quality canned food and will be starting the transition. I just wish somebody would tell me exactly what to feed them for the first month or two until I can figure out the whole process. I was also debating whether or not I should buy a scale?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks you guys!!

Unfortunately there are so many strong opinions out there, you just need to take them all in and give it your best shot ;)

We use beef and have never had a problem. We feed 3 times a day - I prefer 3 as they go less time between meals, but I'm sure twice a day would not cause any problems..

We bought a scale and are so glad we did! It is really helping us make sure we feed our boys the right amount.

A good starting point for someone new to raw is always premade raw. It has the same benefits, and you know exactly what to feed. There's always that option.

Otherwise, I would find a decent recipe and stick to it and see how it goes. We use Better in the Raw which works well for us with the ground beef - it is hard to go wrong with that.

Good luck! :)
