@nudebea , thank you... and for today.. sharing this lovely "little" black racer snake. she has been around for years and suns herself in garden and sidewalk. they are non venomous and good for the garden. I leave her alone, she leaves me alone. I found her shed skin and next day she was sunning the other morning while I was watering plants.

This morning I was sitting with Raven in her harness out back by the pond. I have a little potted norfolk pine tree in honor of my beloved Bubba Bear and Sam and rotties that I was blessed with.
This little fella came over to watch me and Raven. At first I thought it was someone's minha bird that may have escaped.

I cawed at it and it cawed back comin closer being so social. then another one flew down and both sat on the memorial tree for almost an hour. the small bird feeder from my mom has not been filled in over a year.

we have several crows in the area, I always love watching the crows and one is always on the north end of the pond when I walk the pups.

I didn't know these are juvenile Fish Crows.
they are hanging out all day now having a little nap while I take the pups out.

it was like a sign from my little warriors Bubba Bear (who was diabetic) and Sam (who was epilpetic). yesterday I put the little white rottweiler statue in the potted norfolk pine. I told my mom it was in honor of my rottie babies. Then today, these two perched in the tree and cawed back talking with me. gave me goosebumps.
I have lived here for 20 yrs and this is the first I have ever seen juvenile fishing crows and to have them perch on the memorial tree was breathtaking. my mom said the thrid photo looks like the green foliage is shaped like a birds head.

It is such a beautiful bloom! I didn't expect my succulents to bloom because they are still young but I got a bloom, I don't know what they are called tho.

After my parents passed away and my siblings and I were cleaning out their house, I took some of these from their garden. I did not know if they would survive. It has been two years since I transplanted them and they are slowly spreading. It gives me such pleasure to think of my mom and dad when these bloom.
