Ever wonder why cats like to eat grass? Here are a couple of reasons:

Cats’ digestive systems have trouble breaking down vegetable matter, so they may chew grass to help themselves regurgitate this indigestible matter. Grass also contains folic acid, which helps cats produce the proteins that move oxygen through their bloodstream. Thanks @Toa and Ross for letting me use your beautiful girl Jade as a model this week.

Great fact! Now I realise I have to put out some catgrass again so they can snack when they want. And this pic of Jade always makes me laugh.

Ellie doesn’t really eat it, she kind of flosses with it. I go over to the grass and none of it’s gone, there’s just chunks of it stuck together with saliva. Lol
